Two-way remote communication system that can be fitted to our BIC gas appliance control cards.

With this system appliances can send information and receive commands, typically over the Internet using the home Wi-Fi network or, alternatively, using a cable and a local modem. The appliance communicates with a data server that the user can access from a remote terminal such as a Smartphone, tablet or personal computer.

In this way it becomes possible for the end user to remotely control an appliance using a browser or a specific App and to access a range of functions such as switching the appliance on or off, setting operating temperatures, programming weekly thermostat settings, monitoring operational status, etc.

Similarly it becomes possible for an installer to remotely monitor an appliance, access current and historical operating parameters and, if necessary, change operational settings and carry out preventive maintenance, improving service and increasing client satisfaction.
