NB-IoT is a communication technology for data transmission particularly suitable for low-power applications such as smart metering, intended to replace 2G-GPRS technology and allows for longer battery life and a very high connection density.

MeteRSit gas meters, thanks to their small size, the absence of noise and now also equipped with this communication technology, are the ideal solution in highly populated urban areas.

At the same time, MeteRSit also started testing these meters in the laboratories of gas distributors in other European countries.
